Ellie meets her grandfather for the first time.
Ray may not look the type but he crocheted these beautiful blankets for the twins. He and Mary rode the Harley down on Saturday to deliver them in person.
When we put them down next to each other eventually we'd find them nose to nose like this. Its where they seem the happiest.

They had to wear these "BilliBlankets" which are basically fiber optic sheets you wrap around them to expose their skin to light. It helps them with their jaundice until they're able to process it out on their own. Judy referred to this shot as an example of our "nuclear" family.
These bracelets are what told the hospital staff that the twins belonged to me. I kind of liked the physical evidence they were mine and didn't take these off for almost a week after they were born even after we got home with them.
Only a week old and he's already using the computer.

Ellie had the tag on her cheek removed today. Only a small little bump remains. If it doesn't go away on its own we'll have the doctors clean it up when they remove the tag on her ear in a few months.
Now we have two new bellybuttons in the house!
End of a long day of eating, sleeping, and filling diapers.
She wasn't so sure about that "Tummy Time" thing. She likes it much better when she can look around.
After lunch is a good time for a nap.
Daddy's chest is the best place to sleep.

At this age they really like looking at high contrast things. The fan in our living room clearly fits the bill. Its their favorite thing to stare at these days. Doracy decided to get a picture of it from their point of view.
You know I really like the new black and white blanket you got me. I'm not so sure about the stuff above it though... I don't see the appeal.
